FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Will my report stay confidential?+
Yes. What you share is not disclosed to anyone without your consent. We decide together which step to take.
Can I report anonymously?+
Yes. You can reach out without sharing your name; you only need to leave a way for us to get back to you. However, if you decide to start a formal process after our meetings, you may need to continue under your name in line with that process's rules. At this stage — talking with us — you don't need to.
I'm not a student; can I still reach out?+
Of course. Our office is open to the entire university community — students and staff alike.
Are you opening a formal complaint?+
No. We're not a formal complaint mechanism; we listen to you, talk through your options and, if needed, guide you to the right formal process.
How soon will I hear back?+
After we receive your message, we usually get back to you within 2 business days.
